Welcome to the Event Services website! Event Services serves both university and non-university clients.
Campus Clients
CES manages the reservation system for all non-instruction related events and meetings on campus that are sponsored by the university. We provide fee-for-service event coordination for the university community as well as guide registered student organizations through the event planning process. To reserve campus facilities, please click on the "Submit Reservation Requests" from the menu on the left and select "Reservation Request Form". All student sponsored events require this form be submitted in person to our office. Questions? Call (530) 752-2813.
Off-Campus Clients
Conference and Event Services provides full service event planning and registration services. We work with off-campus groups requesting to hold programs at UC Davis, and we also provide services for on-campus clients who need assistance with event planning and/or registration services.
If you would like to meet with us to discuss your program needs, please call (530) 752-2675 or send an e-mail to events@ucdavis.edu. When making an inquiry, please provide the following information:
1) The title and type of event
2) The location(s) of interest (if applicable)
3) The expected attendance
4) Specific dates
5) Event time

New Rate for Student Affairs Facilities

Dear Event Planners:
As the newly formed Campus Recreation and Unions Event Services (CRUES), we have a number of changes to announce that will affect event planners that use the following facilities; Pavilion, Freeborn Hall, ARC Conference Center, UC Davis Conference Center, Student Community Center, Memorial Union, Gunrock Pub, Putah Creek Lodge, Rec Pool Lodge and athletic fields.
New Rates:
New rates have been established for all of our facilities, since many have not had a rate increase since 1999-2000. These new rates will go into effect for all reservations made after January 1, 2013 and will be applied to all Annual Events/reservations after July 1, 2013. Memorial Union Catering Policy:
Effective January 1, 2013, Memorial Union will no longer be exclusive to University Catering by Sodexo and will be open to all registered caterers.
Alcohol Service:
Due to the increased liability for venue managers and departments hosting events, Freeborn Hall, Memorial Union and Putah Creek Lodge will require all alcohol beverages to be served by a registered caterer or registered bartending service. This new policy will be applied to all reservations made after January 1, 2013 and to all Annual Events/reservations after July 1, 2013.
