Symposium registration includes access to the day’s events, as well as morning coffee and tea, lunch, beverages, and light snacks during the morning and afternoon breaks.

Participants are encouraged to attend the networking reception, to be held at the Mondavi Center immediately after the symposium.  For an additional fee, participants may enjoy hosted beverages and light hors d'oeuvres.  Please ensure tickets are purchased at the same time as the symposium registration, as no tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event.

Bus Reservation

Roundtrip bus transportation from the Moscone Center in San Francisco to the Mondavi Center at UC Davis is available at a rate of $20/passenger (Student discount of 50%).  Registration must be completed by August 24 in order to sign-up for bus transport, as that is our deadline for confirming passenger headcount with the vendor.

Complementary Registration

If you are submitting an abstract for a lightning talk or poster, you will receive complementary event registration (symposium and networking reception) if your abstract is accepted.  Please DO NOT register for the symposium until you have received word regarding your abstract.

Students interested in attending may volunteer to help with event logistics and have their registration fee waived (symposium only). Only a limited number of volunteers are needed, so please email as soon as possible to explore this option.

Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellation requests received by August 31 will be processed for a refund, less a $25 administrative fee.  Refunds will not be issued for requests received after August 31.  Email cancellation requests to
